With over 20 years of experience behind the lens, I’ve had the joy of capturing life’s most unforgettable moments, from breathtaking weddings to vibrant commercial shoots. My work has been featured in top magazines, and I’ve been honored to be recognized as a Nikon 100 photographer and a Sigma Ambassador.
Photography has been my life’s passion, but it’s also been a journey of self-discovery and reinvention.
After stepping away from a toxic marriage, where I often felt unworthy, unsupported, and invisible, I found the courage to reclaim my power. 
Leaving that environment allowed me to rebuild not just my business but my sense of self. I poured my energy into creating a photography empire that now thrives, and it’s been the most empowering journey of my life. My mission now is to help other women tap into that same inner strength and invest in themselves and their businesses, breaking free of any limitations that hold them back. I believe every woman deserves to rise, thrive, and create the life she’s always dreamed of.

Meet McKenzie Deakins

On a more personal note, I’m a pink-haired, confetti-loving, former Mormon who grew up obsessed with Jem and the Holograms (so you’ll often catch me rocking my signature pink hair!). My two amazing kids, Ellie and Harrison, are my world, and we love laughing and exploring life together. Whether it’s planning our next adventure at Disneyland or spending time with friends over a charcuterie board, I believe in living life with joy and intention. Recently, I’ve taken up mountain biking—because why not?—and nothing beats a good vacation with a steamy romance novel tucked away in my purse.
